Ten months old. . . next week
Since Jacob left for work this morning, Chloé has been strutting her stuff. Until today, she would panic when she was standing and did not have a hand to guide her. Today, she is taking steps as she stands by herself and usually I see it happen out of the corner of my eye. Why such an early walker? We attribute a lot of it to her door bouncer/jumper that she loved when she was younger as well as her lightning speed crawling. So yes, she will be walking when we visit the U.S. next week. I caught it on video. You will also hear her say "hi" - one of her first words and that is my white manicure nail polish that she is holding. Just wish me luck with two little ones (both walkers now) on the airplane. . . all by myself.

Yea Chloe!! Do you still want the push walker?
She is really cute. I love your "mommy" voice in the video, I do that too. Good luck with those kids on the plane. GOOD LUCK!
I didn't realize you were coming out by yourself! You are a brave woman, but I'm sure everything will turn out fine. Can't wait to see you. We may have to just get together if the other grad girls don't make a move. Love that Chloe is walking! What a cute girl!
Girl, my heart goes out to you with your two little ones on a long flight like that! I'm sure you will do great. I'm sure YOUR children don't wish to give their mother an ulcer (like SOME children I know... Kate!) We really hope we can see you while you're in Utah! :)
That is so neat that she is walking! Weston said to tell you thanks for posting the video. We all can't wait to see you all. Good luck on the plane. We hope they will both sleep at least for some of the time. love ya!
Chloe is amazing - walking and talking at the same time! That little "Hi" was just precious! We can hardly wait to see all of you this coming weekend in Utah!
Love you, Grandma Berg
So cute! I love when babies learn to walk young--they are so cute! I am sure that you will have adventures to blog about--hope everything went well!
how awesome!! She looks so adorable walking around. Grace is 6 months and hardly even rolls!
Hey Jessi! I love that you caught the hi and the steps! Great camera work, mom ;) She's growing up so fast! I hope the flight was okay and that you guys are having fun in the states. We miss you and want to hear all about it!
