Today is our ten year wedding anniversary! (I really should be packing the kids for their stay with Frank and Emily in Stuttgart - while we take off on our romantic getaway to Prague for two nights without the kids. But I couldn't resist trying to blog this day just a little.)
Most of my European friends are REALLY surprised to hear that we have been married for 10 years. Most of them got married in their early 30's so they are just reaching their fifth or eighth wedding anniversary, with children similar ages as ours. I realize that I did get married VERY young. In some ways, my first few years of marriage were when I really grew up. And that is when Jacob and I grew together a lot too.
You could call it lucky or call it blessed, but I really got the best thing of all ten years ago - Jacob. I don't think I knew it at the time. He is more than I ever could have asked for - even on the day we got married. Thanks for loving me through it all, honey.

Congratulations! Crazy how many things you've done and places you've seen in the last 10 years with Jacob. Hope you have a great trip. I've been to Prague- it's a nice city. Surely cheaper than Swizerland ;-) When you go to Prague, you should stop in Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) it's a cute smaller city with "healing water" fountains troughout the city.

How fun! I can't believe it's been 10 years already!! Now that I think about it, it'll be 8 years for us! Holy cow, where has the time gone! I hope you enjoyed your romantic trip! You deserve it!!
