Hans was spoiled with presents from lots of families. Kinda sweet for being baby #3 in the family.
And a present for the big birthday boy - new dress shoes to replace the current ones that have holes in the soles.

Well it all begins. . . two birthdays on the same day to celebrate every June 15th! We had a great time celebrating tonight with friends who could make it. Being a Wednesday in the middle of a school week, meant we missed friends who couldn't make it due to the usual, routine commitments, but the company that came was all great! We have such wonderful, dear friends here in Zurich! Happy Birthday, Hans and Jacob!

Hans and Jacobs picture at the first of your blog is just precious! Hans looks like himself, not so much like anyone else in the family. His 1st year seemed to go by too fast. He's such a big, handsome boy - love that blond hair. Happy Birthday to my little boy and his little boy, too!!! Love you all.
I forgot they shared their birthdays! That's so fun. Way to go hosting a two-for-one birthday party :)
