January and skiing

We celebrate Three Kings' Day here in Switzerland every year.  Jacob picked up our Three Kings' Day Bread at the grocery store/bakery right next to his work and it was so delicious.  The tradition goes that everyone picks a morsel of bread and someone has the king in their morsel.  It was so fun that Hans' found the king in his bread this year!  It was especially cute because somehow he knew it was a big deal.

He was very happy to get the crown and be the king!  I couldn't resist posting all of the pictures!

Just some down time on the couch.
I found Abram leaning against his little brother to watch the iPad with him.

And pictures we just have to capture:  when your 1.5 year old still likes to snuggle on the couch.

This has been ski month for our family!
Abram and Chloe both have had ski lessons every Saturday.
It has been fun to see them catch on!

Chloe with her play friend Clara.  We do playdate swaps every week!

Another highlight of January was Chloe's invitation to go to Kindergarten all morning
with her big brother.  She had a great time and especially loved playing
with the four other 3 year old sisters that came to class as visitors.

We are ready for February now!

What a cute tradition (the kings bread). Your kids are adorable! And tell me, are you a natural brunette that can pull of blonde really well, or vice versa?

Stacey, Stacey. I have been a fake blond since age 14! Mostly fake blond, with the occasional trend back to brunette. I used to have more dirty blond hair, but I am definitely a brunette over the years. I like being blond, but am keeping it simple during my young motherhood. :) Being in a foreign country helps me keep it simple too. jessi

Cute, fun pictures. It's cute that Hans seems to enjoy Abram on his shoulder! Chloe must love playing princess with her friends! We can't wait to see you in a few weeks! Love, Grandma Berg
